1967- The Bills stingy defense holds the Oilers to 26 net yards passing, but the Bills still lose the game 20-3.

1972- The last seaso opener at War Memorial Stadium, was a loss to the Jets 41-24.

1981- After amassing a 14-0 lead, the Bills allowed the Eagles to come back and defeat them 20-14, on a special Thursday edition of Monday Night Football at Rich.

1995- The Bills defeat the Colts 20-14 at home, as Bryce Paup sets the pace with three sacks.

2000- With four seconds left before halftime, Vinnie Testaverde launches a Hail Mary pass, that is pulled down by defensive back Marcus Coleman for a touchdown as time expired. After that, it was all Jets, as they defeat the Bills 27-14 at the Meadowlands.
