OTTAWA - Is it plausible that rookie goaltender Ryan Miller can remain with the Buffalo Sabres for the rest of the season?
"I believe he can if he keeps a certain level of play," Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said before Miller made his third straight NHL start Saturday night against the Ottawa Senators in the Corel Centre.
Miller's level of play was high Saturday as he stopped 32 of 33 shots in Buffalo's 2-1 victory.
"It's going to be based on his play," Ruff said. "We're going to approach him one game at a time. We haven't even talked about the rest of the year.
