We have a Goalie with some records and awards under his name.

Norenon and Biron are good and all but are nameless

Nameless? Biron finished with a 2.22 GAA last season. That's pretty  good if you ask me.

Marty was very good last year but has been playing some very uninspired Hockey this year. Too bad because I really like him too but he needed a kick in the ass from Ryan, hopefully this will help him.;):church:

I agree, I just hope Ruff doesn't rush Miller too much, because I think he's going to really be something special.

Wharfie and I are planning something for next month. ;)

I Meant it in A Good Way.

When hasek Left Norenon and Biron Had some Big Shoes to Fill,

Im Talking Mother Goose Size Shoes man.

Anyway, with 3 Great goalies we can rotate them more and savem for the playoffs (maybe)

Im just amazed that Miller Held off the leagues leading offense for 2 whole periods and a OT period.
16 shots in the second alone

we'd be even better if we get rid of biron or noronen and get somebody who can put the puck in the net.

Thanks Ally!

You're all crazy.. how soon you turn your backs on a guy who's only been positive and hardworking while battling to replace Hasek.. he's done a damn good job and last year when the team had given up on making the playoffs.. who inspired the push and posted back to back shut outs? And who gots things going and ended the season with an impressive shut out.. yeah that man again would have been BIRON..

And just because Miller has played a couple good games.. it's only been that.. a COUPLE games.. I'm not ready to call him the undisputed #1.. even though he is a good goalie and I'm very happy for him.

I still believe Biron is a great goalie and when he gets his chance again.. he'll make the most of it.. he'll have to fight through those games when the team gives up horrendous turnovers and only scores 1 goal.. but in the end I can see him do it.. he's also dominated where he's been.. he's paid his dues and is not about to let that all slip away because some rookie is giving him some competition..

Healthy competition is always good.. and that's why I feel that Biron with his maturity and experience will prevail as the best goalie for the rest of the season.. in the future who know's what will happen.. right now both goalies look strong.. Miller in the limited games he's played.. has looked well, there is no disputing it.. but BIRON isn't some old washed up has been.. he's not ready to go down without a fight..

THIS WILL ONLY MAKE FOR GOOD HOCKEY AND BETTER GOALIES!!

Marty, Marty!! Miller, Miller!!

And for the record: I love Canadian goalies.. they are by far the best ones out there.....

I agree BG43. I think Marty is the guy for now.......I don't want to see Miller burned out too soon. BUT......Miller is the guy for the future. By the end of the season at the latest, we should be looking at moving both Biron and Noronen for scoring and a true backup goalie.

That's why I voted for you as most underrated. I see that you know your pucks better than most of these clods.

So you guys ...... BACK OFF! :redgun:

I hate to say this though, but it looks to me like Marty might be the odd man out here.

Here is my theory on goaltending-

You don't want a pretty boy in the net. You get those high hard ones and the last guy you want in there is a Hugh Grant wannabe ducking with "Oh No! Not the Face!" running through his mind.

You need a guy with an ugly mush.

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/0440.jpg All star Ugly. Future Hall of famer

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/0260.jpg League MVP

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/1473.jpg This Ex- Sabre has 2.07 GAA and a save % of .925 for the Wild

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/2637.jpg One of the NCAA's greatest goalies in history.

Now let's look at who's on the cover of "Teen Beat" this week

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/1395.jpg 29 starts, 7 wins.

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/1299.jpg 14-21-4, in Columbus

http://espn.go.com/i/nhl/profiles/players/0742.jpg This pretty boy just signed a multi million dollar deal with Ted Turner- result? 2 wins, 4.09 GAA, .864% SV

LOL.. Don you're hilarious!! lol...

Ok Lord Byron.. is not cute at all.. you're missing Theodore, Giguere, DiPietro etc.. lol.. Sabre Ally you're right Miller isn't that good looking.. but at least he makes up for it with his goaltending.. Biron is a combo of both.. so that makes him cooler... ;)

Hecht'sHoney.. hmmm I like the sound of that!!! :)
