I think the only way he trades up is if a stud DEF player(Vince Wilfork, Terell Suggs, William Joseph) starts to fall past pick 20 or so. But other than that, I doubt it, though I would like to see us trade to get a pick in at least the low to mid 30's.

I would like us to trade up to, but what are we gonna trade

If the FO makes the right moves in FA, I'll be glad there's no #1 to eat up the cap number. You can still get an impact player in the mid-second round.

I don't think we have enough to offer for a 1st round pick. It's gonna take quite a bit to move up 15+ slots.

Reimersma, watson, and Eddie Robinson! YOu don't think those 3 studs could get us a #1 pick?:laughter:

I do, but wasn't Robinson only signed to a one year deal?

And isn't Riemersma a free agent too?

Watson needs to go - we've got Kevin Thomas playing like a probowler.

Robinson's deal was 2 YRS, $1.825M, $175K BONUS (750K;900K)
Riemersma has another year left on his deal
Pro Bowler???? After two games?

You forgot to throw in Tim Connolly. Is today Garbage night in your neighborhood? Anything else you want to drag to the curb?

TD could really only trade up if he were to use 2004 draft picks. I prefer that he stand pat and take best player available

Bill,

Would those go in the trash or the recycling bin?

Or the compost bin?

The only thing TD could do is move up a few spots in a mid round i.e. trade their 4th and 5th to get someone earlier in the 4th round. I wouldn't want to go 2 years without a 1st round pick. Miami is paying for that as we speak.
