Modrak interviewed with the Jags yesterday...

Vito Stellino reports for the Florida Times-Union Buffalo Bills assistant general manager Tom Modrak interviewed Sunday with owner Wayne Weaver for the Jacksonville Jaguars personnel job at an undisclosed location outside Jacksonville, a league source said yesterday. The Jaguars were given permission by the Bills last week to interview Modrak for the personnel job, according to the source

          CNNSI update

While Green is the only confirmed candidate to be interviewed for the head coaching job, Weaver interviewed Buffalo assistant general manager Tom Modrak for his top front office job Sunday. League sources say the interview was not particularly successful.

I delight in the iniquity of Tom Modrak.

Could Modrak be so happy here that he is going into these meetings with the attitude that unless they do things my way, I am not leaving my current situation?

                If so, good for him!

I still think Seattle will grab him. Too bad we couldn't make him GM and have Tom D just be President of football operations. I doubt Ralph would be willing to fork over the extra bucks needed for that, however.

Modrak also is reportedly scheduled to interview with Seattle, however the Bills said the Seahawks have yet to contact them for permission.

                      The Modrak watch continues....
