This will be the ninth meeting between the Falcons and Bills and currently the series is tied 4-4. The Falcons won the last meeting, 33-30 on December 22, 2001 at the Georgia Dome. This is Atlanta's fifth trip to Buffalo and the first for QB Michael Vick, the Bills have won three of the four previous games against the Falcons in Buffalo.
The Falcons' last trip to Orchard Park came in 1995 and the Bills won 23-17. Buffalo won the first two games in the series (1973 and '77) and two in the mid 90s (1992 and '95). The Falcons won three straight in the 80s (1980, '83 and '89) and the last meeting in 2001.
