1962- San Diego quarterback Jack Kemp is claimed off waivers from the Chargers. His price? A one hundred dollar waiver fee.

1966- Hagood Clarke intercepts a George Blanda pass and scores a touchdown with 27 seconds left on the clock, to give the Bills a 27-20 victory over the Oilers.

1983- The Bills defeat the Oilers 30-13, paced by 166 yards on the ground from Joe Cribbs. The photograph below is from that game, taken by your Historian.
