    a few halftime notes....

-McGahee has bounced back nicely so far.

-our D is struggling and not creating turnovers, and Spikes just got taken off in a cart. NOT a good sign- there's a reason why Crowell doesn't start.

-Josh Reed is our leading receiver through 2 1/2 games- who saw that coming?

-Lindell is still perfect on the year

-Coaching: Good challenge by Mularkey on the firs drive, but why not go for two and tie it? We've been winning the LOS battle on offense.

-It's disgusting the way the NFL protects the marketing tool they have in Vick. The 2nd personal foul was a good call, but the first was BS- he was still following through when Vincent pushed him, and Vincent didn't finish the hit. Also he should have been called for intentional grounding when Schobel had him wrapped up.

-So far, these announcers have been better than the CBS announcers.

Like I said in another thread, this defense has no excuse since other teams have been able to overcome injuries to starters. In this case, coaching and leadership will determine the rest of this game.

I saw Lindell and Reed. Whipping boys on boards become leading scorers. It shows that all of those who scream and holler and hold their breath don't know wgar they are talking about.

that non-grounding call on Vick was a joke. that cost us 3 points

          a fair and reasonable post.

Listenting to the game, here's where I come out:

            O -

we need to run the ball more consistantly. Too much empahsis on JP proving he's drew's big-arm replacement is killing our 3rd-down conversion rate.

            D -

The loss of Pat Williams is hurting us.

Until our corners can play tighter at the line and stop a quick release QB, a Vick, a Brady, we'll keep getting burned.
