As per WNSA...

Their contracts will not be renewed. Also more mention of LeBeau, but nothing confirmed in that area.

What's the sense of having GW if all of his assistants are gone?

not so much aldridge, but vinklarek. I guess it's the 54 sacks thing. and the failure to create a dominant line in one season. But hey, the chiefs did that, so maybe he does suck.

by the way, did you create that beavis and butthead thing? if so, it's the best kai power goo i've seen in a while.

Our O-line blew chunks considering the talent we had.

Right on Dudley our line was very mediocre as far as I am concerned. They should have been a lot better. Drew should have gotten more time. Get someone in here that can get it done.

While I can understand these moves, there are some coaches that we shouldn't let go IMO...These would be Graves who has done a great job with our WRs, Thomas who has molded our Corners to good ones, Jackson who I feel has done a good job with our young safeties too. And Fairchild has been good for Henry so far too.

I agree.. I don't know too much about Aldridge, other than the fact that Newman was not used to his strength(s), but Vinklarek was in over his head. Some of the guys on the line were clearly not pleased with some of his coaching decisions, for whatever that's worth. But as was said, our line talent wise is (or at least has the potential next year to be) one of the best units in the league.

Shadowfax - lol, no I didn't make it, but its a great pic isn't it?! Wish I had thought of it, although I don't think it would have come out as good.

JJ -
How did they mention Lebeau? As DC or someother coach. Anything on Jerry Gray?

So that means we need to hire a QB coach, OL coach, and LB coach and maybe a DL coach if the guy they hired midseason to help out Levra doesn't get promoted.

Nope, they just reiterated the info from the ESPN article - on the front page or

Jerry Gray will probably be demoted to a line coach and we'll bring in Lebeau as a DC.

What would qualify Jerry Gray to coach the D-line? As a player he was a DB. So was LeBeau for that matter, but he's been in coaching long enough to have had what line coaches do rub off on him. I still don't know that I'd try to have LeBeau coach either the line or linebackers. If I don't can Jerry Gray, maybe I make LeBeau my quality control consultant. That's a made up job of course but in essence his job would be to bring his defensive coaching experience to the table, import some zone blitz techniques into the 46 defense and help GW look over the shoulder of all the assistant coaches, particularly on defense. Yeah, I know that's kind of lame, but unless Gray is dumped, that's about the best TD can offer LeBeau.

I can't imagine two guys sharing the D coordinator job. It will be one or the other.

Maybe TD will let them both slug it out and whoever defends himself well, get's the job!

that's ok I just hope we can get someone at each position who will be better than those guys were our Ol did a lousy job for the players we have on the OL.

Maybe we could have two clay figures, like that all star wrestling thing I used to see on TV, duke it out in the ring.
Gray VS Lebeau. Undercard of Gilbride and Ryan. Opening bout of Nolan vs Muckler, I'd pay to see that one. TD can be the official. Of course, the MAIN EVENT OF ALL TIME.....
......... Johnson/Flutie in Manilla.
