1964- The Bills throttle the AFL Champion Chargers, 30-3 at War Memorial.

1965- Joe Namath makes his first regular season start, but his debut is ruined by the Bills, 33-21. Elbert Dubenion is lost for the season with a knee injury.

1976- The Bills narrowly escape defeat to the expansion Buccaneers, 14-9.

1989- James Lofton is signed as an insurance policy.

1994- Sporting their throwback uniforms before a national tv audience, the Bills hold on to defeat the Denver Broncos 27-20 on Monday Night Football.

1999- The Bills hold rookie quarterback Donovan McNabb to 34 yards passing, as they smother the visiting Eagles, 26-0.

I was at that game- my brother won Jim Kelly Club seats from Wendys.
