    Players are dropping like flies

ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Detroit Lions cornerback Fernando Bryant is out for the season with a separated right shoulder.

The Lions put Bryant on injured reserve Tuesday and signed wide receiver Scottie Vines, who caught three passes for 51 yards in six games last year for them. Andre Goodman will replace Bryant in the starting lineup Sunday at Tampa Bay.

Bryant was hurt against Chicago in the season's second week when safety Kenoy Kennedy hit him and receiver Muhsin Muhammad.

Back in 2 off seasons ago I remember we were looking at him.

It's not that their dropping quickly, they are serious..long-term injuries that were not used to seeing so early on in the season.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
