DIMENSIONS - Expanded Offensive Zone (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/dimensions.mpg) (.mpeg - 10MB)

GOALIE RESTRICTIONS - Goalies restricted to certain areas (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/goalierestrictions.mpg) (.mpeg - 10.7MB)

SHOOT-OUT - Game deciding shoot-outs (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/shootout.mpg) (.mpeg - 13.7MB)

TAG-UP OFFENSE - More continuous play (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/tagupoff-side.mpg) (.mpeg - 9.7MB)

TWO-LINE PASS - Removed two-line pass rule (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/twolinepass.mpg) (.mpeg - 9.6MB)

ICING - Stricter icing penalties (http://www.ottawasenators.com/clips/video/easportsrules/icing.mpg) (.mpeg - 8.9MB)

Maybe they should make videos like this for all the rules in the game to help those unfamiliar with the NHL to better understand the game.

There was actually one on the NHL site that I saw a week or so ago.

Video Illustrates New Rules (http://www.nhl.com/news/2005/09/234088.html)

It's great to know that pinning on the boards will be illegal in the "new" NHL. :crap:

Haven't we heard this story before?

Are those the ones done by NHL '06? I saw them off the NHL.com website and they play them at all the Sabres games in the arena...
