It is time for this critic of the NFL to help the league go back to the future.

The business as usual attitude of the competition committee, the Commissioner, and the owners has to come to an end. Who am I not to make suggestions to these sports politicians as the constituents are screaming for these guys to square away the game that will stop the “Exercise of the Larynx the boos and hisses of the fans.” Here are my thoughts on what should be done before the 2003-2004 season begins. MORE...

The coin toss idea will never fly. Las Vegas has too much "pull" to do away with that. Billions are bet on the SB coin toss alone.

I think the other ideas are right on!!

The coin toss is fine... and I also do not agree with the 10 plus loss of down for PInter...

Other than that, I like his ideas!

Great points Art! Screw vegas. I like you "doing away with the coin flip" idea.

"Also – make that sideline official stand on the sidline using his foot where the ball should be marked. Right now, that guy rushes in as if he had about a gallon of Jack Daniels as he zig-zags to where he thinks the ball should be spotted. Could he pass the sobriety test?"

LMAO!!

Yeah, they were great points. I'd support them.
