I don't really understand, those stats are good, but Holcolm has been a life-time backup..... besides that one year with the Browns, he's been garbage.

The O line won't help him either. That's like saying they're refusing to help JP. :dizzy:

Those aren't good stats. Those are average at best.

I disagree. With our D not as good as we thought it was, especially without Spikes, we're gonna have to put a lot of points on the board. Also, this team needs a QB who can elude a rush that's constantly in his face. We face a lot more good defenses this year than last.

average is what we've seen the last two weeks.

Well said. Sitting Losman will stifle his development - and it will not trigger a magical turnaround. JP is certainly not our only problem, and he at least has a chance to get better with experience. Our D has no such excuse.

Average is all we need to make the playoffs.

Average is middle of the pack, middle of the pack doesn't get in the playoffs. Or maybe you were counting on our defense to score? Or stop someone when it mattered? Stats mean diddly, our defense needs to stop talking and start playing. "Bears, Ravens, we can be the best ever, blah, blah, blah." Put up or shut up, so far they have been kicked in the teeth and need to shut up.

If JP has been average the last two weeks then my penis is 27 inches long.

I'm calling BS.

We also have this problem with DT's posing as swinging doors, if you haven't noticed. We're dead last in the NFL against the run. If that doesn't improve, we can have Montana in his prime and it won't matter .

I don't get that train of thought at all. We are worst in the league against the rush, if you can't stop the run in this league you can't win. Plain and simple. An average QB is not going to overcome that, sorry gents.

our d can and will play better. they have talent and have been over reaching and trying to make huge plays on every down instead of just controlling the game.

Our passing O is our biggest problem, and the fix for that is sitting on the bench. Losman isn't ready, and his developement is hurt by having him out there sucking.

You guys have bad defense and offense, you need to play way above your heads to even sniff 6 wins this year. Spikes was a good player, not zach thomas calibur, but a difference maker. Just admit the season is over, too much to overcome and have a chance of competing with the dolphins and pats for the afc east!
