All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
ah- it says the rankings aren't based entirely on this year's stats- that would explain why we're ranked so high.
Ah yes, we are based partially on our strong postseason finish last year. That, coupled with our strong start this year explains things very clearly.........
It's actually a pretty interesting ranking system, if you read the details. At the moment, 2004 performance and their preseason outlook factor into the rankings, but that will fade out by week 8.
There's also a '2005 only' column that only uses this year's games - Buffalo 15th (Miami 8th, Patriots 14th, Jets 24th) - although since the rankings are based on a formula rather than subjective judgments, that too can be a little skewed early. (No, Miami doesn't deserve to be ranked above the Pats.)
Still, I like this page because there's no "bias" involved.
Be proud, Bills fans. Thanks to the NFL's changes to encourage
parity, your record of four consecutive Super Bowl losses will
stand unmatched in our lifetimes and beyond.
It's only week 4 - too early to salvage a little solace by living in the past, don't you think?

This is the only ranking that matters: Dolphins 2-1, Bills 1-2
I saw an interesting statistic as well: 32nd ranked rushing defense....do you know what team that is?

um yeah- your team is coming off of the low point in franchise history, and for this season you've one a whole 1 game more than we have. A little early to be talking trash, don't you think?
What a bunch of horse **** ! Just goes to show ya what stats are good for.
On another note, don't these dolphin fans have their own board they can chat on?
I am Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your senior drill instructor. From now on you will speak only when spoken to, and the first and last words out of your filthy sewers will be sir. Do you maggots understand that?
