          Yeah, Cheektowaga. I'm not sure what the deal is but it looks like we are lumped into the NYC feed area and not the third region (Buffalo and Rochester). This had better be remedied soon or else...

                          Damn, you're right and that means we have a problem. The local channel satellites aren't equipped to carry varying regions of those upper-tier stations, so far as I can tell. Unless they are broken out into separate channels a-la Fox Sports, we could be left without games on TV

                            not sure what that means but crap . I know on NFL sunday ticket they know what regional NFL games are being pumped in so they know which to black out on the ticket...if there is no other way...does this mean the Sabres on center ice will get blacked out in our market?

                              The Center Ice may be blackout out. It's a regional blackout which applies to everyone, I think, regardless of whether or not your provider carries the local feed. This is a problem for DISH network customers too since, despite the fact that the channel in question isn't carried in any form on their network, they may still be blacked out by Center Ice. I'm not up on the particulars of the blackout stipulations, but I'm worried.
