Pennington NOT out for the season..

I saw it on ESPN this morning. He'll be back in 2-3 weeks. I will look for a link.
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!

ok, either he's insane, or the Boston Globe is.

This is what I found on ESPN

Pennington will be treated with rest and rehab to see how his shoulder responds, and will be re-evaluated by Andrews in two to three weeks. He is out for the season.

The New York Jets announced Wednesday that orthopedist James Andrews concurred with their team doctors' diagnosis that quarterback Chad Pennington has a torn rotator cuff.

I've heard this tossed back and fourth because of something the Surgeon said. Well the JETS organization said he was out for the year so I'm thinking he is. Even if he was to try and come back it would just be at the level he was playing...which was crappy because of the shoulder. Let him come back and play like vomit who cares?

I hope he does come back. He can't throw the ball more than 20 yards.

He won't see the field again this year. Look at it this way. They have a lot o fmoney invested in him and he has already given them a scare once this season. Why risk his career and your millions of dollars on rushing ihm back. It is best to let him sit, rehab and make sure he is 100% before he ever is allowed to step on the field. He is gone for this season.

nobody bounces back from rotator cuff injuries, especially anything that resembles a tear.

From the way he was talking, it sounds like he's under the impression that he'll do all of his rehab so he CAN come back in 3 weeks.
