Buffalo quarterback J.P. Losman had the date circled on his calendar the moment the NFL schedule came out. The date -- Oct. 2 -- was once a source of eager anticipation for Losman. But now, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, it serves only as a reminder of hardship and pain.
Losman, who played in New Orleans at Tulane, and the Bills won't be playing the Saints in the Superdome on Sunday. Because of the devastation caused by Katrina, the game will instead be held in the Saints new "home" of San Antonio, meaning Losman won't be seeing many of the friends he hoped meet with in New Orleans. http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=403993&category=Sports&BCCode=SPORTSMAIN&newsdate=9/29/2005
