Antonio Warren, a former running back-kick returner with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders, was among seven players signed by the New York Giants on Tuesday.
Warren attended the Giants training camp last season, but rejoined the Stampeders midway through the CFL season after being released by the NFL club. The five-foot-10, 212-pound native of San Francisco rushed for 168 yards and had 11 catches for 96 yards with Calgary but also amassed 265 yards on 27 punt returns (9.8-yard average) and returned 16 kickoffs for 507 yards (31.7-yard average), including one 99 yards for a touchdown against the Toronto Argonauts.
