The missed FG was huge in this game

If we make that FG the score ends up being 10-10 going into halftime. By missing it they had the field position to set themselves up for a FG to take a 16-7 lead instead.

I'm still not sold on Lindell. Sure he was 9-9 but the short kicks were never his problem. It's the longer kicks from 45+ yards. His longest FG is 42 yards. An NFL kicker should make the majority of his 30-40 yard attempts.

I just knew he was going to miss it too. You could feel it. I laughed as the commentator was talking about how he was perfect this year as we were lining up to play because I knew that when it REALLY mattered, that he would flop. It seems to be the entire team's trademanrk anymore these days. Pathetic. Makes me sick...

If McGee stays on his feet and gets 4 more yards we are ahead at the half.

I somehow fail to see how the OL and Losman improve if Lindell makes that kick. Not a deal breaker, imo.

Agreed. I though Campbell tripping McGee at the end of the half could've been considered as costing the Bills a win though. That was just downright stupid.

Lindell missed by a short distance and their kicker missed their kick as well. Perhaps the field was not great for kicking but Lindell is not the one to blame for Offense ineptness and Defense inability to tackle.

Maybe MM should NOT have cut those practices out.

There is no way missing that kick cost us momentum or the game. Ther are bigger fish to fry then one missed FG.

If the FG was from inside 35 yards, you would have a point, but a 45 yarder, on the road to boot, is tought. The reality is he absolutely crushed that ball and missed by a foot if that. It would have been nice if he made it, and maybe things would have gone differently but it wasn't like he missed a gimme. It was a long FG from a tough angle.

Gimme a break. The guy shaved the upright on the road from 45 yards out.

Lindell is looking much stronger this year. He's kicking the ball with authority and his kickoffs are sailing to the goal line.

BS it didn't matter. If we make that FG we're going into halftime tied 10-10. Instead it gives them good field position and they get a FG instead.

Before you know it we're 6 points down and we're playing from behind.

Instead of airing it out in the 4th quarter because we needed 2 scores we would've only needed a TD to take the lead. It helped change the way the game was played after that.

Not only that it changes the complexion of the team. Would they have rather been tied or down by 6 points and thinking about having to play catchup with an offense that can't score as it is.
