Saints | Smith Says Moulds Spit on Teammate

Brian Allee-Walsh, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints S Dwight Smith called Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds a "coward" for spitting on one his teammates as the teams walked to their dressing rooms at halftime of their Week 4 game. Moulds' actions led to a brief skirmish. "One of your brothers gets spat on, we're going to react," Smith said. "I just believe it was a cowardly act."



(if true) very classy Eric.....I understand your frustrated pal, but totally unacceptable. He seems to be regressing not only with his play on the field, but his leadership off of it as well.

I did hear about the fight. Was moulds provoked? Still, he shouldn't have even spat on someone unless he was touched. If memory serves me right, moulds was also accused of spitting on patrick surtain. Wth is going on here?

He should start spitting on his own teammates/coaches first if he's that frustrated.

I think you're dead on, he's going to snap soon. And with it, I think the locker room is going to explode, especially without TKO around to keep things level.

I think frustration is starting to show with Moulds, he's getting old and wants to go to SB before he retires. In my magic ball I can see him signing with the Eagles next season.

There's two sides to every story. i am not saying what Moulds did is right but we are hearing only one side. Who is to say the other guy didn't spit first. I am not defneding Eric because spitting is a classless immature act but before I sell him down the river I like to hear both sides. Sad part is that seems to be the only time he showed any life yesterday..

This is the second accusation of Moulds doing this. I wanted to believe that Surtain was just being a baby, but after another accusation it's hard to discount that he does this. Is this Eric Moulds' thing? Is this how he embodies sportsmanship? If so, he is a coward and he's the baby. Real nice E-mo...way to represent.
