Oh, yeah, Matthews has been a powerhouse throughout his career. Big arm, mobile, and capable of making our O line look like Pro Bowlers.

Someone merge this with one of the other 200 threads.

I wasn't serious. Just poking some fun at the doom and gloomers.

I'm too lazy to use emoticons.

I agree, it should be J.P. The Bills have to give the kid a real chance. Mularkey gave Holcomb his shot. He had two chances, actually. It didin't work. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Meanwhile J.P. just has to develop his game. Put some touch on his throws, get comfortable, in a rythm.

i would start holcomb or matthews if you guys want a chance to win some games, losman is playing horrendous right now and if you keep him in you won't win a game the rest of the year. He's simply not ready for the big dogs of the NFL:sorry:

I've been saying this from day one! Why you would blow off Bledsoe when you had the tools in place to make a SuperBowl run is beyond me. Sure Drew is a statue, but if you give him time to throw, he's dangerous. Handing your offense over to an unproven "rookie" works about once every twenty years (see Marino '83, Rothlisberger '04).

Thanks for starting J.P.! I was worried if Holcomb was to start - still am if your coach pulls J.P. early.

We didn't have Dallas' offensive line. We weren't going to win the superbowl. Next year J.P. would basically be as green as he was when he played the Texans.

Give the kid time.
