Yet another inept game by the entire Buffalo Bills team was broadcasted into many a fan’s viewing set this past Sunday. The Bills defense began by initially playing better up front, stopping the run. But they would slowly degrade as the game went on. Jerry Gray made some good personnel moves, alternating linemen in as well as shifting the positions they would play. Tim Anderson, the backup defensive tackle, played a great deal more when Ron Edwards left with a shoulder injury. Backup defensive tackle Justin Bannan also played considerably more. Sam Adams, the Bills starting defensive tackle, was moved from right side to left and back. But Sam was often double teamed – being perhaps the only defensive linemen that other teams need to account for. Chris Kelsay and Aaron Schobel, starting defensive ends, often switched positions trying to throw off the offensive line coverage.
