I find it unbelievable that Buffalo's last Monday Night Home Game was September of 1994!!!! I think the league must do a better job when scheduling these games. That is ridiculous!!!!!
Anyone else have thoughts??????

Ralph Wilson does not want Monday night home games due to the fact that the Bills are such a regional team. Fans would have to take both Monday and Tuesday off from work to attend a game.

That must explain why the Bills had 13 consecutive primetime road games.

Sunday December 4, 1994 at Miami Dolphins W 42-31
Sunday September 3, 1995 at Denver Broncos L 7-22
Monday October 2, 1995 at Cleveland Browns W 22-19
Monday October 23, 1995 at New England Patriots L 14-27
Sunday December 3, 1995 at San Francisco 49ers L 17-27
Sunday September 1, 1996 at New York Giants W 23-20 OT
Monday September 16, 1996 at Pittsburgh Steelers L 6-24
Sunday October 27, 1996 at New England Patriots L 25-28
Monday December 16, 1996 at Miami Dolphins L 14-16
Monday October 20, 1997 at Indianapolis Colts W 9-6
Monday November 17, 1997 at Miami Dolphins L 13-30

ABC says that they do NOT choose the games for Monday night, yeah right. After October the only northern MNF games are in a dome. Buffalo does not rank as a warm, or major market site for these games. Perhaps this year, we may get a Sunday night game, or even the Thanksgiving game with Dallas. Remember what happened the last time an AFC east team played on Turkey day.

I thought the Bills did not want home night games because the fans drink all day in the parking lot and are to rowdy and drunk by game time. I read that somewhere. Just can't remember where.

There was a lot of problems after Howard Cosell was threatened by that moron. For the longest time, Buffalo wasn't even in the equation.

GO!!!...BUFFALO!!!...

Try 8 AM Venus- I know- I did the trip all season-

MNF ends about 12 -12:30

1 hour minimum out of the lots and out of the traffic- It took me almost 3 during the Miami game to get to the thruway.

Yeah, but there was also a major snowstorm at the end of the Miami game. :laughter:

No kidding, Ally.....J7 and I were driving 10mph all the way to the airport that day. Talk about bad roads....but we made it safely and in plenty of time that we could grab a bite before her plane.

The fact remains that Buffalo needs more home games during prime time. It's only fair, and with Bledsoe and Co., much more entertaining for the non-Bills fans.

They will never exceed more than 1, unless they can swing it on a saturday night. And since there are no prime time games early in the season on Saturday night, it probably won't happen.

There is a decent chance they might get a national game on a Saturday at home, though- possibly involving the Jets.

As a long-time season tix holder, I'd rather not have any prime-time games. They're a pain in the neck, with the late start and getting home at about 3 in the morning. They also wipe you out at work the next day.

I'd rather have the whole schedule at 1 on Sundays like this year. With Bledsoe and a rising team, I'm sure the Bills will have 1 or 2 prime time games, and maybe a home game this year- didn't Arizona even have a prime time game this year? that doesn't mean I'll like it, but I'll be there.

I agree...I don't need the night time games.

Personally, I would like to see more 4pm home games. Coming from Central NY is a pain for 1pm games. No matter how early I leave, it seems like I only end up with an hour and a half or so of tailgating time.

I agree with the "no prime time". I get up to go to work at 0430. I need some sleep.
