Sugar Bowl MVP, Musa Smith, Leaving for the NFL

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) --- Musa Smith will enter the NFL draft after becoming the first Georgia running back since 1992 to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season. Assistant coach Mike Bobo said the junior informed the staff of his decision Tuesday after returning to Athens from his family home in Elliotsburg, Pa.

"He just felt he was ready for the NFL," said Bobo, who began working with the team's running backs after Tony Pierce resigned at midseason. "We think he's physical enough to play at that level." .......more~~> http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo.../smith_pro_ap/

NFL Draft Blitz- Musa Smith, Georgia (RB): Musa's stock is somewhat hurt by his inability to keep healthy. He's a magnet for minor injuries but has really turned his play up another notch this year.

Stupid decision, will be alate day 1 pick, maybe day 2. He only entered b/c McGahee fell out so his draft posistion looks better. Hes a slow back with good power. Good for short yardage but will never be a an every down back to injury prone.
