I've been watching Jones and Benson this season with some interest. What do you guys think will end up happening in that backfield?

IMO, this week is as good a chance as Benson will get, since CHI is coming off the bye and facing a less-than-imposing Cleveland D. If he can't get in the game now, I don't think he will.

Which ould suck since I have him in my sim league, I took he and Mike Williams in the rookie draft.

that team is struggling and Jones is producing...I doubt they make a switch.

I guess now that I have successfully received Jones from you in a trade, I can voice my opinion. Unless Jones gets injured or suspended, he's starting and doing a fine job of it. Benson didn't make a great impression this week, as far as I know. I was watching score updates on yahoo and I saw him fumble on one of his few carries.

Ally is right, however Thomas Jones isn't exactly an iron man.

Benson will get his chance when (not if) Jones gets hurt.

Talk here is that Jones got a bone bruise on his knee and will sit out next week.

Somebody traded Terrell Owens for Thomas Jones in one of my leagues. Somebody doesn't know what they're doing.

I traded Clinton Portis for Marvin Harrison in one of my leagues :snicker:

future draft picks were also involved, but still....

I'd love to hear why the two of you are so surprised by this trade, and which one of us you're criticizing.

TO's points after five games: 98.10 or 19.62 per game.
TJ's points after four games: 75.40 or 18.85 per game.

Ally needed depth at RB and had great WRs; I had plenty of RBs and wanted to improve WRs.

And given the status of TJ and McNabb, this trade suddenly seems a lot less blockbuster than it was a week ago. :doh:
