Mularkey needs to be canned after the season

The guy has proved he isn't a leader. The team isn't playing hard for him and he acts clueless. The playcalling has to be some of the worst crap I've ever seen.

The clincher is the way he's handling the QB's. He's in a lose- lose situation starting Holcomb.

If Holcomb plays great then he is showing how stupid he is by not starting him from the start.

If Holcomb sucks then he is showing how stupid he is by benching Losman in the first place.

Either way Mularkey is proving himself for the idiot he is. He coaches like mularkey.

The problem with Mularkey is the same as the start of last season. He's in love with the strong arm of Losman the same as he was for Bledsoe. The gameplan and playcalling has been terrible just like it was at the start of last year. It wasn't till we dug ourselves into a big hole before he went to the basics and focused the gameplan around running the ball and took the pressure off of Bledsoe having to win the games.

This is what we're gonna see this year too. His terrible gameplan of not running the football and being in love with the strong arm and wanting to pass when he should be running got our backs to the wall to start this year off.

I predict we'll get back to the basics this week. Doesn't make much sense that he'll wait till he benches JP when that's the gameplan he should've had all along.

Mularkey wants to put the blame on JP so it doesn't look like it's his failure as a coach.

Had we ran the ball more last week we probably would've won. We were just outcoached and outplayed in the Atlanta and Tampa Bay games by the better team and coach. Last week was the winnable game and Mularkey dropped the ball.

TD wanted another yes man and he got it. Being a good coach was not important

Very true. That's why we interviewed about 6 other coaches before we hired Mularkey. He hunted till he found somebody to be his new pansy.

The only way Mularkey can win is if he simply does win. If this team falls short of the playoffs (again), then he's most likely gone, and if they have a losing record, I think he's definitely gone. Holcomb has to lead this team to a 9-3 record or better and go to the playoffs, ala Flutie in '98, or Mularkey is toast, and so is Donahoe most likely. If the team is REALLY bad, then both are gone for sure.

I hope Donahoe goes first, because that means the "yes man" will only be able to be judged on his performance, not by him being chums with the GM.
