All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
They really need to step it up a few notches this week. They should perform well against a very mediocre Dolphin team.
I am Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your senior drill instructor. From now on you will speak only when spoken to, and the first and last words out of your filthy sewers will be sir. Do you maggots understand that?

in a way, it is JP's fault. Most of the yards against Atlanta and Tampa came late in the game because we got killed in TOP and the Defense got tired. If the offense could have held on to the ball longer, it would have
a)given opposing defenses less opportunities to get yards
b)kept the D fresh so they may have been able to stop someone in the second half.
I'm not saying the offensive struggles are all JP's fault because the O-line has been terrible. But the offensive woes are a big reason why the defensive numbers look so bad.

Hmmm, so last year when our D ended up #2 despite us playing pretty crappy on O through most of our games until the run at the end, they didnt get tired but this year they do. Interesting, maybe they need more gasers!
go back and count the "3 and outs."you'll realize it real quick.
Ohh you cant be talking about the D, they manage to have enough energy for the 1st 2 dowsn but then magically get tired on the 3rd downs. Your right, its JP's fault.

umm, actually they did. Remember the big plays by Jacksonvillle and Oakland at the end of the games? The D completely shut them down except for 1 or 2 fourth quarter plays. Even one sustained drive by the offense would have taken 3-4 minutes off the clock and kept our D from ever even being on the field that late in games.
We're they "gassed" when they let Dunn get a 60 yard run just before halftime? This D does not deserve people making excuses for them. They have been terrible outside the Houston game
Against NO, three of the Saints' first five drives were for scores. They had three drives that were longer than six minutes; one was in the first quarter and another was the first drive of the third quarter.
Against Atlanta, the Falcons' first two drives of the game were long ones for touchdowns.
The problem is not that the defense is tired; it's that it isn't very good. It earned its reputation as a playmaking turnover defense, but it can't stop the run.
