Howard Simon and the morning show have said that DirecTV and MSG have come to an agreement and it appears the Sabres will be on the satellite.

THIS IS NOT A RUMOR! The company that feeds Directv service into our college called me this morning as promised and said a deal between Directv and MSG has been reached and the games will be on tonight!

a Political Deal Means Squat, You know how much re-arranging of channels it will take to add a channel to whatever tier that MSG wanted it on, let alone, rebooting the satillite network to add the new transponder number,...

lmao.. you'll see the games next week, if the tech crew gets all the stuff they need to done tonite then congrats...

its possible the volume of complaints will get them to rush and you get a ****ty glitched and distorted feed...

that's not true...all they have to do is switch the feed on the satellite such that this area gets the MSG feed of the broadcast which is already out there and captured by Adelphia.

You wont see it on your DirecTV listings yet. Around 6:30ish eastern-time they will switch MSG's feed to the Sabres game. Well, that is unless they felt like idiots and set a seperate channel for us? lol.

Hmm, really? I only have basic cable because my dad suddenly hated DirecTV. Even in the local paper it showed some soccer game on msg. Nevermind then, my bad.

DirecTV has a page from the menu option that just scrolls all the listings for programs all day...

I just called those cornholes again, and got the "we are currently in negotiations, etc..." speech.

But in all fairness, it sounded like I was talking to India, and that the woman on the other end of the phone had no clue as to what I was complaining about.

Well...it's in the grid for MSG (621) at 8pm. Earlier today, it said, "Necessary Roughness" at that time slot.

Channel 4 and channel 2 both reported that tonights game is on channel 625. Tomorrow's game is on 632 I believe, and then the rest are 621.

Unbelieveable, can you get anymore incompetent?

EDIT: Technical difficulties. I guess they're trying to get the game on. Come on, how do you not plan for this once you get the TV rights to the Sabres?

It was on it, but it was the Isles telecast, so it was blacked out as well.

The free package goes on all weekend, FYI
