That much is clear from the 5 games so far this season.

Mularkay and Clements want to throw short, safe passes and throw bombs only to keep the opponent honest.

They called exactly the same thing with Losman and Holcomb.

Bledsoe is not this type of QB, as we all know about him.

Coming to think about it, this is exactly what the Steelers was and is running offensively ... with two differences. One the Steelers offensive line, when healthy, is one of the best lines in the league. First and goal on a one yard line, it's almost a given 6 points for the Steelers. The Bills have proven time and time again they are far, far from that level in those situations. Second, the Steelers finally has a QB who can complete passes and who can also buy time to complete plays downfield. The Bills have a QB who can complete passes but can't buy time or improvise and another QB who can buy time but can't complete passes (yet).

The Bills are slowly shaping up in the Steelers fashion. The offensive line is still a concern and needs development from the young guys fast. What I'm worried about is the defense which should be the backbone of this type of system. I see a defense that is clearly on the decline from the peak they had the last couple of years.
