All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Re: Something I noticed watching Steelers/Chargers
What about Big Ben's knee going backwards! OUCH! That just plain sucks! It happened to me when I tore my ACL. He's damn good. I hate to see a respectable player go down with an injury like that.

Really? Last time I felt it was in '98 (sort of), although nothing compared to '90-'94 where you just knew they would win games they way they played. Smooth, confident, motivated (Levy was a great coach), executed the plays perfectly, great chemistry, etc.

GO BILLS
And it seems Charlie Batch is their backup. That's not good. I wonder what happened to Tommy Maddox.

Oct. 8 The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Tommy Maddox was carted off the field yesterday when he pulled a calf muscle during practice. He is now listed as doubtful for Monday's game. If Maddox can't go, Charlie Batch would be the Steelers' No. 2 quarterback.

He took us from a 3-13 joke to a team that was just destroying everyone towards the end of last year.......guess that was the perfect time to start over and rebuild. God forbid we win a Super Bowl in Buffalo. How 'bout them Cowboys this year?
it was our D and special teams doing the destroying of crappy teams. Drew, wasn't majorly responsible for those wins. Check out his nos. during that run.Average at best.
Re: Something I noticed watching Steelers/Chargers
Man,I watching those qb's and hoping Jp could thread his passes like they did.A lot of the recievers on both sides had to dive for the ball. That's because the qb's were throwig only where the recievers could catch the ball while being covered.
Right now, JP is playing like ROb Johnson. Waiting for an open reciever and then take off. No wonder he didn't have that much INT's in college.
Another thing, Ben looks to pass first before running just like Frave. Even while scrambling , they are still looking to pass downfield. I wish JP could learn that.

These are very good, very solid football teams.
It's been so long since I've had that feeling watching the Bills it's effin ridiculous.
To be honest, I wasn't really impressed with either of those teams last night. San Diego was lucky that the refs made a few bad calls or they would have gotten smoked. Pittsburgh has a tough defense, but their offense isn't overly impressive. I thought both QB's looked a little lost last night.
