    On This Date in Bills History....

    October 11th.

    1964- The Bills defeat the Oilers 48-17 while amassing 565 yards in total offense.

    1969- Little known Preston Ridelhuber throws a halfback option pass to Haven Moses for a Bills win over the Patriots, 23-16 at War Memorial.

    1983- Rod Kush undergoes knee surgery, and is replaced in the defensive backfield by Syracuse star and Western New York native Bill Hurley.

    1985- After three successful seasons with the Birmingham Stallions, the prodigal son comes home, as Joe Cribbs re-signs with the Bills.

    1987- The Bills replacements lost 14-7 at Foxboro.

    1993- The Oilers get crushed by the Bills on Monday Night Football, 35-7.

    Preston Ridlehuber certainly isn't "little known".

    Good old number 36.

    He played a big part in the Heidi game.
