NFL says it was wrong, Cowboys pick fifth in NFL draft

The NFL ought to be just a tad embarrassed by now.
First, the league admitted its officials made a grievous error at the end of the San Francisco 49ers' 39-38 victory over the New York Giants in last weekend's wild playoff game.
Now, the league said Wednesday that it was wrong about its initial ruling that the Cowboys and Cardinals need to flip a coin to determine the draft order.
According to a Dallas Morning News story, Dallas will pick fifth in the first round of the April 26 draft because the Cowboys lost 9-6 to Arizona in overtime. The Cardinals will then pick sixth.
