Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets rookie RB Cedric Houston will become the primary backup to starting RB Curtis Martin now that RB Derrick Blaylock (foot) will miss time with a foot injury.

Updating and contrary to previous reports, Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets RB Derrick Blaylock (foot) will miss six to eight weeks after breaking the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in Week 5. Blaylock will undergo surgery Wednesday, Oct. 12, where a screw will be implanted into his injured foot. Initially, Blaylock was expected to miss the remainder of the season with the injury, but now there is a chance he could return before the end of the year.

During the game Sunday, CBS flashed some stats across the top of the screen like they always do and showed Rosco Parrish had a run for -6 yards.

we covered this- Frerotte ran the ball- the morons at CBS credited it to Bills #11 instead of Dolphins #11.
