On This Date in Bills History....

    October 12th.

1968- Dan Darragh throws a touchdown pass to Gary McDermott with 18 seconds left on the clock, then converts for two points, as the Bills tie the fish at the Orange Bowl, 14-14, before 28,559 disinterested fans.

1975- The Bills come from behind to defeat Marchibroda's Colts, 38-31 in Baltimore.

1981- The undefeated Dolphins get a rude awakening on Monday Night Football in Buffalo, as the Bills race out to a 17-0 lead, then finish off the fish, 31-21. Howard Cosell commented, "This is the worst performance I have ever seen by a Shula Coached team."

1997- Without studying the playbook, Billy Joe Hobert stinks up Foxboro Stadium while subbing for the injured Todd Collins. The Bills lose 33-6.

2003- The Jets sack Drew Bledsoe seven times en route to a 30-3 pasting of the Bills at the Meadowlands.
