D-Line Has New Look, Polk at Backup MLB
The Buffalo Bills defensive line will remain a question mark until they prove they can get the job done. But on Wednesday, for the second straight day, the coaching staff took a long look at Tyrone Robertson at left defensive end with Ron Edwards at under tackle on the starting defensive line along with Pat Williams and Aaron Schobel.
Bills defensive coordinator, Jerry Gray, tried to downplay the new line combination, “To me we’ve got big guys in there that can handle the run, but we’ve got pass rush guys too.” While Gray seemed to indicate that the moves were made solely because of the concussion suffered by Kendrick Office, the new lineup is clearly the better run front, and the move might have been made regardless of any injury.
