All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Yes despite Directv promises to play Sabres games on MSG channel 621, the games continue to be fed on an alternate channel which is not carried by the company that feeds our college Directv service.
I have called Directv and emailed MSG in attempts to resolve the problem with no luck.
My buddy goes to UB and he goes to a bar to watch games. I forget whats the name of it, they advertise on WGR and it seems legit.
He says, when Sabres play they do "Hockey Nights"..... Sabres are on many TV's with sound and he says you can get a pitcher of beer and a medium pizza for like $9.50. That's an amazing deal, most pitchers cost like $6 on good nights....... he says pitchers after that deal are like $5 to fill up, but atmoshere is solid. So, i'd go to the bar lol....
When I first signed up for DISH almost 3 years ago, I regretted doing so, because I couldn't get the NFL Sunday Ticket on DISH. But DirecTV wasn't offering locals here in Central CA yet, so I had no choice. Nearly 3 years later, I am glad I am with DISH, so the whole MSG debacle doesn't affect me. Of course, I'd probably get the feed on Centre Ice anyways, since I don't live in the Buffalo market area.

Is there any hope for a desperate Sabres fan?
The game was on the NHL Center Ice package. TSN did the game.
The Rangers played last night on MSG. So, the Sabres game was being carried in Albany on Fox Sports NY. The Sabres, except in Buf, play on Fox Sports NY when the Rangers are in action.

I got an email from the MSG network this morning saying all they do for Directv is feed them the game and it is the satellite company's decision on what channel they place it on...
Looks like I am back to yelling at Directv...
Oh btw, I don't have the choice to get any other cable or satellite network in my dorm room, I'm stuck with what we've got...

If you pop for the NHL package, you'll see more Sabre games. Its $129.
yea but the company that supplies our college the directv channels it does, doen't offer the ones on NHL Center Ice.
Basically we get our tv in a cable format. We have 95 channels and can not alter the package. These channels however are not provided by Adelphia, they are provided through a company called Falls Earth Station. This company takes television off Directv and feeds it through to our campus televisions. For example, MSG on Directv is channel 621, however in my room it is 33. This company only provides us with 95 of Directv's hundreds of channels, only the ones that would normally appeal to college students.
This being said, luckily I do get the MSG network as one of my channels, however until it is actually on Directv channel 621, I will not receive a feed of the game.
