We were doing good with it, now we are stinkin it up...any reasons to why this has occured you think?

Besides hitting the post alot and trying to look pretty for everyone on tv refusing to shoot

One of the TSN guys during the overtime PP's said you can't stop the puck when you get a pass for a one-timer, the goalie and defence get time to react and break it up.

Buffalo kept on doing it, that's why shots were deflected, saved or into the crowd.

I saw quite a few piss poor passes on the PPs tonight, too. Why the need to pass, pass, pass? There were a few times where taking the puck strong to the net would've been better than trying to be a friend, and set someone else up. That 5-on-3 in the OT period tonight was a prime example. Buffalo will need to improve on the PP %, as many teams are making a killing on theirs. When the refs are giving penalties away like government cheese (Especially the "cross-check" Vanek took, where he sold it like a Brazilian at the World Cup), you must cash in.

as far back as i can remember....the sabres were a pretty boy team.....always hearing roars of fans yellling "SHOOOOOT!!!!!"
