October 15th.

1967- In his return to War Memorial Stadium as a Raider, Darryl Lamonica throws four interceptions, but leads his new team past the Bills, 24-20.

1971- Ralph Wilson signs a 25 year lease granting the Bills use of the new stadium to be built in Orchard Park.

1976- In a case of deja vu, Lou Saban resigns from the Bills again. Jim Ringo is promoted to Head Coach.

1987- Gene Upshaw calls off the player's strike, but most players aren't eligible to play in the coming weekend's games, as they did not report by the 1pm Wednesday deadline.

1995- Billy Brooks catches a pair of touchdowns from Jim Kelly, in a 27-21 victory over the Seahawks at Rich.

2000- The Bills win a wild one against the Chargers, 27-24 in overtime, on a Steve Christie field goal.

Agreed. That day was a bad day for the Buffalo Bills. :(

I was at that game! Jeff Burris intercepted Rick Mirer in an unintended ND hookup.
