I have a dilemma

The game starts at 4, and my wife's plane arrives at 5:40. I have to pick her up at the airport. If the plane's late, I will miss a significant chunk of the game. So do I

-pick her up cause we're gonna look bad and lose anyway.
-pay for a car service and some flowers and write it off as payment for a bills victory

If I spend that money and we don't win, I'll be upset

you have to pick her up shes your wife and she loves you, just tape to game. it may not seem like a big deal to you but it might really hurt her. she hasnt seen you for x amount of days and when she gets back you don't even wanna see her. i say you go there and pick her up WITH flowers.Dont forget you can watch the game at the airport. There are bars and tv in the terminals. She'll be so happy that you thought of her she might stay at the airport bar with you to watch the rest of the game.

you need a creative solution:

Go to a payphone and call in a bomb threat on her flight before it takes off...that should delay it a few hours. Watch the game and then mosey on out to the airport...and then when she finally gets there look all dejected that she was late and you missed the game. If you can get there quick you can park it in the lounge and lay a good guilt trip on her so she picks up the tab.
