On This Date in Buffalo Bills History...

    October 16th.

1968- Elbert Dubenion retires from play, and is hired by Harvey Johnson as a scout.

1976- OJ Simpson, reflecting upon Saban's departure, credits the Coach with saving his playing career.

1977- In the lowest scoring game in team history, the Bills shutout the Falcons 3-0.

1994- The Indianapolis Colts snap a twelve game losing streak to the Bills with a 27-17 victory at Rich Stadium. The following day, it was revealed that the blacked out game was actually seen by many locally, through a loophole that allowed DirecTV to bill them to a friend or relative's address outside the blackout zone.

1995- Marv Levy announces he has prostrate cancer, and will undergo surgery the following day.

Does anyone know who replaced Dubenion on those days and which players have been scouted by him?

On the other hand, 3-0 looks like it's not only the lowest scoring game in Bills history...
