    Crowell backs Spikes' words

When Angelo Crowell walked into the Buffalo Bills' locker room Sunday, he was met by a familiar face. Making his first appearance at a game since suffering a season-ending Achilles injury was Takeo Spikes, the man whose shoes Crowell is trying to fill at right outside linebacker.
Spikes, who took part in the coin toss as the honorary captain, had a few words of wisdom for Crowell. Spikes then made a prediction.
"Crow," as Spikes calls Crowell, "you're going to have a big game today." Inspired by Spikes' words and presence, Crowell not only had a big game Sunday, he made the play that turned out to be the turning point in the contest. more

I still miss Spikes but 'Crow' is doing a helluva job... Couldn't ask for much more.

      Thanks for the link!

On the other hand, it seems that Jets didn't want to prove if Crow was ready to do his job. He only had four tackles... something that means too much...

        Bills' Crowell follows his leader

Takeo Spikes isn’t making tackles anymore for the Buffalo Bills this season, but that doesn’t mean he’s not making a difference.

The all-pro linebacker has been somewhat of an extra coach to his replacement, third-year man Angelo Crowell.

“I’ve been studying up on Spikes basically ever since I got here … going through the same routine he has” Crowell said. “He’s definitely critiqued me on things I should have done better. I know it’s good criticism, he’s proven he knows what he’s talking about.”

With all the playing time he's gonna get, he may turn into a very good player for us. If TKO comes back from this injury well, Crowell could start for this team next year.
