View Full Version : My Brief Rant on the Losman Issue!

I'm tired of the same old cr@p thread after thread.

Losman bashers chime in about how we're all allegedly hating on KH, and how we can't possibly be Bills fans if we don't hold the same opinions they do.

At the same time they bash and beat up on the guy who performed as well, in his 1st 4 starts as did the Manning's, Carson Palmer and even the hero Drewler Bedsore.

Then they start with the "throwing the season away" blather. They act as if starting JP predestins us to a season of everlasting torture. In the careers of many 1st year players (including those mentioned above), marked improvements can be seen from the 8th start on. And the Bills have a team, given the support of key veterans *cough, cough*, that could carry such a future leader for the 1st 8 games.

Then... after everyone's argued out that thread... another one appears in which the Holcomb supporters accuse the Losman supporters of not being able to back up their opinions because they won't argue the same points again.

So go ahead and crucify me, and those who believe like me. Crucify us for believing we could gain momentum with a player that, come playoff time, may very well be more capable of leading this team deeper into the playoffs than the career backup KH.

That said... I support the Bills (including KH).

GO BILLS!!!

It worked well when Wade benched Flutie and put Johnson in for the playoff game. :bad:

I am with you. Holcomb hasn't blown me away but has managed the game well. At this point though we would be hard pressed to take Holcomb out as long as we are winning.

I'd have to say that it's a two way street. A lot of Holcomb supporters got pissed on for wanting him in with the, "You care more about the here and now instead of the future, which doesn't make you a real fan." bullcrap. So, basically, I have little sympathy for you.

Don't worry draz, the time will come when the truth shall be known. Be patient. Just have your "I told you so" posts ready to blast all of the Holcombites to little pieces. :snicker:

Holcomb is doing a nice job of not losing, in a kind of caretaker role, and I'm certainly happy that we are winning. But Holcomb lacks the physical tools to be a long term starter in this league. JP is still our QB of the future - that future has simply been delayed a year.

For those that would like to join Mr. Pathetic in talking about Bledsoe, please follow this (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php?t=83386) link.

Now back to the regularly scheduled ranting on Losman/Holcomb.
