Green drops out; Mariucci in mix?
Former Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green became the second coach to pull out of the Jaguars' coaching derby yesterday, increasing speculation that Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz has emerged as the leading candidate for the position.
Green, who interviewed with owner Wayne Weaver and senior vice president Paul Vance on Tuesday in Dallas, followed in the footsteps of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, who declined an invitation to interview with the Jaguars.
