    On This Date in Buffalo Bills History...

    October 19th.

    1969- Lamonica throws for six touchdowns in the first half, as the Raiders defeat the Bills 50-21.

    1977- The Bills cut kicker Neil O'Donoghue, and resign Carson Long.

    1987- The authentic Bills report back to work after the strike ends.

    2003- With a 432-169 edge in total yrds, the Bills defeat the Redskins 24-7. Bruce Smith, playing for the Redskins, failed to record a sack.

      I'm glad that was LAST week (in '69), instead of this upcoming week - I might've gotten nervous.

        I think it is a good sign to have this date occur just before game vs California Raisins!
