The chiefs-fins game has been officially moved to tomorrow night at 730 eastern. Will CBS broadcast it nationally?

Is that official now?

I heard them discussing the possibility a little while ago on Sporting News Radio, but they haven't said it was official yet.

I guess it would make sense. Either that or move it to KC...

Sirius NFL radio just announced it. 7 eastern. J Taylor and Seau might not be ready to play!

Cool.

I saw a couple college games were moved already too.

Hopefully this is a disadvantage to the Dolphins somehow. :D

it's a disadvantage to both because they lose practice/recovery time. At the same time, the Dolphins will undoubtably have a smaller crowd so their home field may not be as significant.

Plus the Dolphins have a chance to ruin my weekend in advance........

There ya go!

I figured they'd both be at a disadvantage due to less practice/gameplan time, but I didn't think about the stadium attendance. Do they even sell out their games though? lol

It won't be a national broadcast, just like the game that was moved up last year (Miami vs. Pittsburgh I believe). Giving one network an extra national game probably wouldn't go over well with the other networks, as the league has all type of restrictions on how many/when national games can be shown. Hopefully it will be shown on Direct TV.

Here's a link from ESPN stating that televesion and broadcast deals are being worked out. Maybe it will be on tv.

It damn well better be- I paid for Sunday ticket to get EVERY game, not every game that's not rescheduled.

They may show a replay on Sunday but it will only be shown locally on Friday. I live in Florida and won't see it. I too have Sunday ticket and this sucks! They had 2 games moved last year. The Tenn. was moved to Sat. and not shown and the Steeler game was moved to 8pm Sunday night and not shown! Hurricanes suck!

maybe, but you can't really blame the fans for this one. i mean, if you had the choice between getting out of the path of a hurricane or watching a football game, what's more important? i say you should live to watch more football games later...

Didn't both teams recently have bye weeks? I think KC had it last weekend, or perhaps the weekend before. So they are both probally rested up pretty good, at least compared to other teams who have yet to have their bye weeks.

It will be interesting to see how many people are actually attending the game. It would be funny to see it mostly empty. Anyways, I hope the Dolphins lose.

the NFL needs to consider having Friday night football and getting rid of Monday night football.

this game is not being shown because they don't want to compete with High School football. What a crock. I want a refund for one games worth of sunday ticket.
