This is great.All he did was do what he gets payed for, if he wants to stay in the NHL, then when he gets the tap on his shoulder he knows what he has to do. Heartly the coach is a ****ing idiot and should be thrown out of the league, this is not the 1st time he has done this. The coach is the one that decides to put a goon out in the last minutes in a game that you are getting blown out in.

I loved Coach Fonzie's interview about the incident. I actually think the ECHL requires too much skill for Boulton. :D

When you get beat out for team goon by a guy who can't skate well enough to stand up to throw a punch (Peters), something is wrong.

BTW, there is an article saying Boulton has been suspended already, pending a hearing:

Hartley should be suspended for all this crap.
It started with Toronto last week and then TB this week.

I think this is the point that is being overlooked. As Buffalo fans, many of us know that Boulton isn't really worthy of a roster spot, but Hartley is no rookie to some of these tactics.

I'm all for the 3rd period fighting that takes place during a game where the score has been run up, but that's just it---FIGHTS. Encounters where both participants consent to the action, not running guys into the boards, elbows to the blindside, high sticks to the face (You know, Marcy Tucker tactics).

I think Hartley should be held accountable for these things, just like the entire media & hockey public blamed Crawford for the Bertuzzi/Moore incident.

he isnt the problem hartley was barking orders he just followed through so he can get ice time i was at that toronto game where he racked lindros atlanta wasnt even trying hartley wanted someone to do some head hunting

Boulton gave it his all when he was with us. he did what was asked of him. I have no animosity towards the man, it was definitely instigated by the coach.

I'd like to see you give Boulton a reacharound...I don't think that you would get your usual pepperspray in the face like you do at Chuckee Cheese's when you're out surfin.:limp:
