Nov. 5 - Hockey Hall of Fame game, Tampa Bay at Toronto.

Nov. 7 - Hockey Hall of Fame induction at Toronto.

Dec. 1 - Signing deadline for Group 2 free agents.

Dec. 19-27 - Holiday roster freeze.

Feb. 13-27 - Olympic break.

Feb. 28 - Regular season resumes.

March 9 - Trade deadline, 3 p.m. EST.

April 18 - Regular season ends.

April 21 - Stanley Cup playoffs begin.

May 6-21 - World championships at Riga, Latvia.

June 19 - Last possible day for Stanley Cup final.

June 24 - NHL entry draft at Vancouver.

July 1 - Free agency begins.

July 20-Aug. 4 - Salary arbitration hearings.

Aug. 6 - Deadline for salary arbitration decisions.

April 21st is the start of the playoffs eh??

I think that sometime around May 3rd will be very important as the Sabres will eliminate the leafs from the playoffs some time around then
