    Buffalo Bills' report card

Quarterbacks: Kelly Holcomb hit 70 percent of his passes, threw for two touchdowns, and had no interceptions, a fine performance were the game a defensive battle. His low-risk throws (8.4 yards per completion) were not about to keep pace with an opposing team that rang up 38 points. Muffed a snap, was sacked three times, and led only one second-half touchdown drive and that was after a Raiders' fumble deep in their end. Fell to 2-1 as Buffalo's starter and 2-6 for his career in road starts. C+ more

I am surprised he gave the coach a "c".

        Re: Buffalo Bills' report card

The only thing I can think of is that they may have divided up into 1st half and 2nd half. The Bills played better in the 1st than in the 2nd half and maybe they gave them an A in the 1st half and an F in the 2nd half - averaging out to a C.

Personally, though they were better in the 1st half, I would give them a B for coming out and having yet another scoring drive at the start. However, with the F in the 2nd half, I would rather average them out to a D or D+...
