Leo: Only if Tom Brady, Corey Dillon, Deion Branch, Richard Seymour and Bill Belichick take the day off. It's not a pleasant thought if you're a Bills fan thinking about what lies in wait in Foxboro on Sunday night. The Patriots have rested for a week and Buffalo returns from the West Coast with a beaten team both physically and emotionally after Sunday's 38-17 debacle in Oakland, Calif.
Sal: As far as I'm concerned this game in Oakland was the easiest on Buffalo's schedule over the next month and they came away 21-point losers. Not a good sign going into the home of the two-time defending Super Bowl champs, who will have had two weeks to prepare. There is no way I can sugarcoat this. The Bills have NO chance in New England. more (http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051025/SPORTS03/510250333/1007/SPORTS)

You need to run Willis, and run Willis again! You can win, but need to control the clock!

We have a chance if we:

1) Run WM early and all the time.

2) Jam NE's receivers to throw their timing off and keep Brady from hitting his three-step quick passes. (But, if Clements and McGee are laying off 5-6 yards on NE's first series? Game over.)

3) Hope Teddy and the rest of the team's timing is off after the bye.

Problem is, two out of three of those things require sound coaching to achieve, and we're ****ed in that department.

In Miami and they weren't coming off a bye. I don't think anyone in the league can beat Belicheck when he has 2 weeks to prepare.

There's no way in hell we're winning this game- I'm just looking to see if this team has the heart to fight to the end and try to keep it close. I have a feeling I will be hanging my head in shame after this one.

I'm telling you, I have a gut feeling we win this week!

Or maybe that's the stomach flu that's been running through my house. :ill:

Do they have a 45 point rule they can institute in the pros?

The good news is that we may finally see JP Losman in garbage time, after the Patriots put up a 28 point lead or knock Kelly Holcomb out of the game. :ill:

Yeah, he should see 3 1/2 quarters of action this weekend then.

We notoriously haven't been real crisp in night road games. Miami, San Francisco, Kansas City, and New England in the last couple of years to name a few. By the way, all under Tom Donahoe's (and his band of renowned) leadership.

The only way we can win is if the O-line and D-line play the game of their lives. Get Willis running, and get Brady running. They have a few Rookies starting on their line, their run game has struggled (although teams have found their breakout games against us) and their defense cant stop the run. (25th in the league) Put it this way both the teams that Miami beat, Denver and Carolina, beat New England.

I think you could get one against the darned Pats. Their team seems to be in a bit of a dissaray (which AFC East team isn't) so I think the Bills can get one if they get their defense back to their aggressive self it used to be. This will be a true test for Holcombe and the rest of the team, that could give or break their identity depending on how they compete against the Patsies

Yes Bills can.
Reasons:
1. Patriots are depleted of key-injuries and it seems that they will not be able to confuse anyone.
2. Dillon out means must win.
3. They are really unlucky on paired numbered weeks... specially Bellichick...
4. Their OL is simply overrated and their performance depends too much on the ability of their TEs.
5. One of their pillar players will be injured.... or might be injured... capish? Bills might take it PERSONAL....

Hot off the wire: MM is upset that BB ran up the score and and did not have Brady take a knee at the end of the game. Oooops hasn't happened yet!!
